Dnyan Prasarak Shikshan Sanstha was founded by Late SHRI. BALASAHEB MHATRE sir in 1979 , with the aim to provide education to the Poor & Deprived classes students.
Since than the sanstha has grown immensely in the field of education Today the Institute can proudly claim credit for 5 Degree Colleges, 1 Law College, 1 Polytechnic, 8 Junior Colleges, 15 Secondary Schools, 14 Primary Schools, 14 Pre-Primary Schools, 2 Study Centres of National Institute of Open Schooling, Noida & 9 Computer Education Centres.
The Educational Institution, have build up trusted name in the field of Education.
The Education Campus at Badlapur was founded in 2009, with an aim to Penetrate Higher and Technical Education in Rural areas of Thane District.
Sir laid the foundation Stone of our Hendre Pada Campus in the year 2007 on 1.5 Acers of NA Land and after that in the year 2009 , the foundation stone of our Kanhor campus on 10.5 acers of Land was laid, This is our 15th Year of Educational Presence in the vastly developing City of Badlapur.

This Institute is founded on 2nd October, 1979 on the occasion of the Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the Father of Nation and Birth Anniversary of Late Shri. Lal Bahadur Shastri, the Ex. Prime Minister of India, by Late. Principal BALASAHEB MHATRE.
The Institute looks after the all around development of students personality in providing facilities for Co curricular, Extra-curricular & Social activities. The main object of the Institute is to provide education for the poor and deprived class people.
Badlapur Is Changing and taking into consideration the changing needs of Badlapur , From the academic year 2017-18 we have a started Women’s College at our Badlapur, Hendra Pada Campus, the formation of Women’s college at Badlapur is the Great honore for the Women.
